We are proud to have won the Hidden Movers Award 2019 in the category “The Most Innovative Idea”! This award is not only a recognition of technological progress, but also a confirmation of our commitment to promoting inclusion and accessibility through artificial intelligence.

The Hidden Movers Award

With the Hidden Movers Award, the Deloitte Foundation honors innovative educational initiatives and ideas that are less well known. The focus is on empowering young people in Germany. In addition to cash prizes, the winning projects are coached by the Social Entrepreneurship Academy and receive six months of individual pro bono advice from Deloitte experts.

The funding covers a wide range of topics, including intercultural encounters, language development and digital skills. We are looking for projects and ideas that prepare young people for the challenges of the future through education. Prizes are awarded in three categories – innovation, growth and language development.

Our innovation: cloud-based live subtitles

Our software is more than just code and algorithms – it is the embodiment of a mission. Using cloud technology and artificial intelligence, we enable fully automated live captions and live translations in real time. We want to create more accessible events and ensure that everyone, regardless of hearing impairment or language skills, can join the conversation – online and offline.

Why is inclusion so important?

Inclusion is not a fad, but a necessity. By actively involving people with different abilities in communication, we are creating a world that is accessible to all. Our live subtitles of EVE are a step in this direction, and the Hidden Movers Award encourages us in our efforts to improve accessibility.
