Live subtitles on your desktop: with our new app, you can not only display subtitles where you need them on your screen, but also adapt them to your needs. Here we briefly explain how you can use the free EVE desktop app. Quick and easy – for the best EVE experience!
Live subtitles where you need them
We all agree: subtitles should always be available. In the case of a completed video production, the subtitles should either be burned into the film or switched on with a button. For live events, EVE offers the option of calling up live subtitles in the browser window. With the desktop app, we offer an even better subtitle experience. With the help of the additional app, it is possible to permanently burn the subtitles to the desktop across other applications so that they are always visible. You can also use the app to customize the subtitles to your needs. Font color and size, background color or transparency – just as you need them.
If you are already familiar with EVE, using the app will not be a problem. But even EVE newcomers will quickly find their desired subtitles.
Instructions
- Download the app from the Windows or Mac Store
- Log in with your EVE account on app.starteve.ai log in
- Create as usual an event
- Copy the event ID
- Start the desktop app and insert the listener ID
- As soon as your event starts, the subtitles are displayed in the app – for anyone with a desktop app and ID link
- Customize the subtitles to your needs
- Follow subtitles and learn something new
